Time of the season

It's that time of the season when justice, caring, sharing and good will towards men should be in high gear. It's most unfortunate that that is not the case in our society. The news is full of daily events of murder, stealing, assault and all other sorts of inhumane treatment.
For myself, I pray harder during this time of the year I suppose than any other. Always hoping that human beings can finally take that needed break from ugly.
How many of us ever go about really doing for others more than we do for ourselves? Do we realize that for every act of kindness there will always be others waiting in the wings doing more harm.
My hopeful prayer is  that during this time of the holiday season that we each can be reminded that justice will come to us all. The real question I ask myself is when my day of judgement comes, will there be more good than bad.
For each of us I pray that our goodness out weighs the bad and that for just a little while we can stop and really see what a grand gift we have been given by God.
No matter who you pray to, remember this, not one of us will escape what we have done, or left behind to be judged.
Be kind, giving and loving. May our  judgment day be filled with goodness.

Peace always.

Think higher power

It would be great if every time we felt that we had been wronged that justice as we see it would take effect. Unfortunately that's not how it happens at all. Trusting that humans are going to set right any wrong for all of mankind just isn't possible.
We leave the foundation of what is true justice to creatures made of flesh and bone and there in lies the problem, right? How can we mere mortals make justice happen? Well, honestly not in all cases is justice ever found.
Humans have been killing, stealing, splattering, lying and cheating since the beginning of time. I mean even in the garden of Eden there was fault with humans. So, what are we humans to do about justice? Not much, except leave it up to mankind to work it out.
I for one have to believe that there is a greater power than humans. After all look at the mess we have been making for so long now. Does anyone see much justice here? Not me. That's why I have to have faith that my God, my highest power will make right all wrong, in the end.
Never to be a preaching sort, today it just hit me that with all that is going on in the world a little more praying couldn't hurt a thing. I live in America, supposedly one of the greatest nations on earth. Okay, maybe not anymore, but why is that?
Perhaps, because America is lost. We have no leaders that stand for anything righteous, just what gets them more votes. Our leaders are stealing our country's very essences right out from under us and no one wants to stand up and scream at those fools.
Right now if I don't trust in my God then I will be completely lost. No hope would remain within my soul. I can't speak for everyone else, and every human being has to decide for themselves about God and his power to help us out, but as for me, well I'm sticking with God.
Letting my higher power become a part of who I am is about all I have these days for hoping that we have any chance at all for continuing as a species.
I hope you will just think about what I've shared and maybe you can find your way to your higher power. After all if we leave all of this to mankind, there wouldn't be any kind to get us through.
Be blessed,  I know I am.

Casting a vote

Many times I feel as though the people that I voted for to represent me in the government dealings, don't really give a crap about what I really feel. How is it that our law makers seem to lose focus on what's truly important to vase majority of people they represent?
Somehow after they are elected and make it to Washington D.C. or maybe just the capitol of their state they appear to lose their minds.
In almost every place that I go there are those of us that talk about what the hell Washington is doing. Do they realize or even care anymore how their stupid little fight really affects us? I know that somewhere buried deep down inside of this tug a war is a belief that  the position that has been taken can make a difference.
Great! That's wonderful, but can we get back to the part about, "We the people." Because we are lost inside of our own individual needs right now and not the whole country's collective needs.
How is shutting down parts of the government going to help anyone out here trying to pay bills.
Man, I'd like to take a big stick to all of our lawmakers and beat the crap out of them. What a bunch of cry babies they are, especially the president of the United States of Nothing.
We are far from united right now and it ain't going to get any better anytime soon. Help.......... please!!!!
People, if we are smart, we would fire every single one of those whining babies and elect persons that really give a shit about our country. I'm mad as hell about how this country, Americans especially are acting so shameful with one another.
Get it right, get it straighten out for goodness sake. We the people pay the price for the arrogance's our lawmakers continue to carry.
Now, how united does that sound?

It is, what it is....

Justice is what it is. It is what you make it and how you live it. Justice is only a thought of what we would like to see happen when evil has come to call. Justice is your heart becoming bigger in forgiveness than you imaged.
It is , what it is, it is your understanding of truth.

No rhyme , no reason...

There is no rhyme, no reason for the acts of hate and violence we see today. There is no rhyme or reason for the horrific treatment of one another any day. There's no justice that brings back a loved one lost, in war, in the streets or in any place on earth.
There is no rhyme or reason to the insanity we witness each day. Where is no justice of our hearts that pray.
No rhyme, no reason to act without love.
We're lost from one another. No rhyme or reason for the awful thing we do, how can say we love each other when hate is all we do?

Determination Wins

Some many years ago America suffer from a great loss. The unthinkable happen, we were attack. It has been over sixty years since another outsider has to come our shores to cause hurt and pain. We as a nation were stunned.
For a little while Americans were left to heal our wounds, bury our dead and repair our lives. Once again it was up to us to gather our strength, stand tall and move forward. For a little while it seem as if our enemy had won.
America despite the hundreds of faults that we have is still a resourceful nation. Its' people have a remarkable ability to pull together in the face of impending doom. We are united despite the enemies best efforts to drag us down and destroy us from the inside.
The truth is simple. America has a great determination to win. Win what exactly? To win in the efforts and ability to withstand our foes desire to destroy us. That precious thing we call home. We are the land of the free, the home of the brave. Our very history serves to prove that Americans will do whatever it takes to survive.
Around the world many countries hate us for what we have become, but we have only become what the world has asked us to be. Our pride, freedom and values system at times may seem a little unbalanced, but the heart of America continues to beat.
After all these years, with all of our wounds still being healed, our determination as a nation, as a people continues to win.
We are here, we are proud, we are American. We are still determined, to win!
Be at peace with the road we have traveled for it takes to places that we have not dreamed of, but challenges left to win.

Nothing kinder

There is nothing kinder than having to put aside your own emotional feelings when you have been done wrong. Understanding how to walk away and not feel as though there's a hole in your heart is difficult to say the lest.
Remembering that Christ died on the cross that we may have pure lives and souls eternally shows just how great God's kindness is. The is nothing kinder than loving a person that has done you wrong especially above all things. Chin up children of God, he knows your pain and sees your works of kindness.
Nothing kinder is ever wrong and God will balance the scales of your life, for he is the kindest of all creations.
Serve a king who is nothing but kind and he will smile on your world an all shall be right.
Goodness is nothing but kindness in it's greatest form. Amen

I pray you all are richly blessed, everyday.

Suppose.....

Suppose that right is never wrong.
Suppose that loving is good and strong.
Suppose that there is no shades of gray,
Suppose that all of us love each other everyday.
Suppose that speaking your mind was truly okay,
Suppose that your opinion was not meant to sway.
Suppose that a nation knew right from wrong,
Suppose we were still honestly strong.
Suppose we could still say our peace,
Suppose that government was not a beast.
Suppose that we could still speak of God above,
Suppose that we were still able to love.
Suppose we were the nation we claim,
Suppose that hate was not the blame.
Suppose that I had some freedom that weren't a mess,
Suppose our nation was still truly blessed.
Suppose we are America the land of the free,
Now suppose that that was still meant to be.
Are we still a free America, the red, white and blue,
Suppose that our freedom is still really true.

Just because we are Americans don't make us righteous, kind and loving and it doesn't mean our government works for us. I'm sorry to see what America has become, I miss the real, red, white and blue, our flag flies for you.

Louder than words

There's that old saying, "actions speak louder than words." Being kind and acting in kindness isn't hard to do, it speaks louder than any words you chose to speak.

Act in kindness, let your voice be heard. Is anyone hearing you ?

One Nation Under God

                                                                 ONE NATION UNDER GOD
I can't say how many times I've said that I'm not one to preach. However, this is probably exactly what I'm about to do and many of you may not like what I'm about to say.But regardless here's goes nothing.
When I was growing up I remember how much everyone talked about what a great nation America was and how everyone wanted to come and live here. Our country was beloved around the world. The land of opportunity, rags to riches, where every dream deserved a chance. America was the nation where no matter who you are or what you believed you could be free to live as you chose.
Attached to that sentiment was also the phrase, "One Nation Under God." It is stamped on our money and written into our Constitution in such a way as to be understood that this nation was developed and forged with serving and worshiping God.
As the years have rolled on from those days of settlements of old and masses of people from all around the world who have poured into our borders, we have become less of a God serving nation. We should perhaps re-phrase that one statement to say, "One Nation under political and money servitude."
The people of this great nation are no longer loved around the world, but rather hated is more like it. More and more we find our selves in the mist of political disaster and misleadership, all the while pretending to still be a great nation.
We are not a nation under God, but a nation of fools. If you don't go along with what's deem as the new way of thinking, " Anything Goes." then maybe you are committing a hate crime. If you don't like your neighbors, which you should then you might be stirring up trouble.
Crime is at and all time high, murders are being committed every second for the most insidious reasons and the real hate is like a cancer.
We can no longer speak out about our "president" and his lack of leadership, lest we be hatemongers and racist. But on the other hand the shout of "it's racial" is being screamed for everything that goes wrong, even if it's not the other races fault. I am a white christian women who has lived through poverty, abuse, bullying and all kinds of hateful action lean against me. The truth is I don't hate anyone, but if you kill an innocent person, well I'm probably not going to be your best friend.
All I want is to be able to practice my faith, watch the news that isn't forty five minutes of blood shed and still be proud of my country and my leaders. Sadly that isn't going to happen anymore, is it? This great nation that has seen so much sacrifice for freedom is going to hell in a quick hand basket and our leaders are paving the way. I wish I knew what happen to that great place called America, One Nation Under God. She just doesn't exist, not the way I believe she was suppose to anyway.
Our fore fathers had a dream for this country, but it is my opinion that this country of ours is just plain full of crap. What we as Americans have allowed to happen in our own backyard is repulsive and we should be very ashamed of how we have let our dream country disappear.
I pray every night for this country, my home of the brave. I keep hoping for honest leaders with a little backbone that will perhaps take a stand and finally reclaim the we are indeed, still a great nation. One Nation Under God, Indivisible, And Justice For All.
Good luck America, we're going to need it.

MY BROTHER'S KEEPER?

I'VE HEARD THIS QUESTION ALL OF MY LIFE," AM I MY BROTHER'S KEEPER"? SHOULD WE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S LIFE? IF SO, TO WHAT DEGREE? LOOK AT THE WORLD AROUND US. SEEING THE VIOLENCE THAT IS PRODUCED ALL OVER THE WORLD, AGAIN I ASK, AM MY BROTHER'S KEEPER?
I LOVE AMERICA, MY HOME, MY COUNTRY. I LOVE THE FREEDOM THAT I HAVE TO LIVE MY LIFE MOSTLY AS I CHOSE TO. HOWEVER SOMETIMES I WONDER IF OUR LEADERS UNDERSTAND THAT IT MAY BE MORE IMPOSSIBLE RIGHT NOW TO POLICE THE WORLD THAN EVER BEFORE.
I SAY THIS ONLY BECAUSE THIS ONCE BELOVED NATION HAS TURNED IT'S BACK ON IT'S OWN PEOPLE. OUR LEVEL OF VIOLENCE IN THIS COUNTRY HAS RAISED TO AN ALL NEW HIGH, YET OUR MILITARY FORCES TRAVEL HALF WAY AROUND THE WORLD FOR HUMAN RIGHTS SAKE, WHILE PEOPLE ARE BEING SLAUGHTERED HERE FOR A PENNY.
I BELIEVE AND FULLY SUPPORT OUR MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN. THEY ARE DOING AN AWESOME JOB AND THE SACRIFICE IS ENORMOUS. BUT WHAT ABOUT THOSE OF US THAT CAN'T EVEN GO TO THE STORE WITHOUT FEAR OF BEING ATTACKED OR EVEN KILLED OVER NOTHING? WE NEED HELP TOO. EVEN THOUGH I THINK THAT NO NATION HAS THE RIGHT TO ELIMINATE ONE GROUP OF PERSONS, HOW CAN AMERICA POLICE THE WORLD?
I TOTALLY HATE VIOLENCE AND DEPLORE THE ACTIONS OF A GOVERNMENT THAT WOULD FOLLOW THE PATH OF GENOCIDE AGAINST ITS OWN PEOPLE, BUT WHEN WE STEP IN TO MAKE A DECIDING FACTOR ABOUT ANOTHER COUNTRY'S GOVERNMENT, WE MUST STEP VERY LIGHTLY.
MY HOPE IS THAT IF THE QUESTION "AM I MY BROTHER'S KEEPER", IS YES, THEN WE AS A NATION MUST WALK SOFTLY WHILE WE CARRY OUR BIG STICK.
TIMES ARE A CHANGING AND WITH THESE TIMES GOVERNMENTS ALL OVER THE WORLD HAVE NEW VIEWS ON HOW DEEP AMERICA CAN DIG INTO THEIR BUSINESS.
MY PRAYER FOR ALL NATIONS IS TO TREAT ALL OF YOUR PEOPLE WITH KINDNESS AND GREAT PURPOSE. TO ALWAYS KNOW THAT WITHOUT THE PEOPLE THERE ARE NO NATIONS, UNDER GOD, YOUR GOD OR MIND, IT DOESN'T MATTER.
THAT GOD CREATED ALL OF MANKIND TO LIVE IN HARMONY, IF THAT IS EVEN POSSIBLE AND TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER ABOVE ALL THINGS.
I PRAY THAT WE EACH CAN SAY A PRAYER TODAY FOR WHAT IS GOING ON ALL AROUND THE WORLD, REMEMBERING THAT WE ARE ALL OF GOD'S CHILDREN.
TAKE CARE OF THE ONE'S YOU LOVE, THIS DAY AND EVERYDAY.
GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU. I PRAY YOU FIND CONTENTMENT AND JOY.

It is what it is...

We all want everything that we feel is wrong to be right in some way. Changing the very idea of injustice isn't easy. How do we as a society go about changing wrong? It starts with an idea, a concept that behavior can be changed. Every view regarding right and wrong has a beginning. For me the beginning is a moral value set down by God.
No one really wants to be preached too. So, how about just having a conversation that involves the basic principals of good and evil? Good is good and should be easily noticeable at times; where as evil is evil and that should be recognized for what it is and thus the change begins
Social structure is a balancing act for all of us. Nothing comes easy for humans since we have struggle with our moral conscience from the beginning of our creation.
Still I hope that at the heart of humanity conversation is still the key to acting well. Our ability to evolve far from the downward spiraling social creatures that we are today can still give us hope. If all of mankind can take a step back just long enough to see how far we have come, then we also can take giant steps forward in the hopes of self improvement.
Life offers a strange set of circumstances each day that we must chose from that governs our behaviors. Through these choices we develop our inner most being as a human. We are what we are not completely by choice, but our free will drives mankind to develop in their own unique fashion.
In short, the only hope for changing the future and what we are to becomes hedges on understanding that life is what it is. There is really only one answer for a better tomorrow. It is simply this, it is always up to the individual to act in kindness thus dispelling and removing evil behavior for all time.
Seeing and hoping for the good social behavior isn't an easy thing to believe in, yet God in his wisdom gives us that hope. Never forget that life is here today, gone tomorrow and it is what it is..... until we make it better.

Maybe baby !

Justice is sometimes a matter of opinion. It is never swift or equal in it's application of making the sorrow we suffer easier.
Serve up your own justice as God would have you to do, forgive and ask for guidance. God is perfect in how he allows our free will to work.
Justice for all, may be in the longer only a concept of our mind. Maybe baby justice is what you make of it.

Even Though

Sometimes we find ourselves caught up in situation that tears at the very fabric of our lives. Immediately we think of getting justice making all things even. In truth life doesn't always offer us justice when things go bad. What it does offer is a small amount of leveling out for the pain that we suffer. For most people having to endure something that seems beyond awful isn't the way life is suppose to workout, but just when you think there's no hope for good it shows up anyway.
Good has many faces, many coats and many colors. It comes from all walks of life with all types of experiences and may feel somewhat unusual, but it can smooth out the wrinkles that evil leaves behind. Stop, take a deep breath and dig deep down inside for your own goodness. Learning to be good and to do good in the face of pain may seems like torment, but justice is hard. Figuring out how to act with goodness is hard as well. It requires a certain type of strength from our lives and souls. We must continue to work and practice at becoming a good person, not a perfected one.
So aim for just being good everyday in some way, whether it is begins as a small action or a large one. Think and act in kindness as often as you can and then somehow, somewhere even though you may not see it goodness will show up. And that my friends is a good coat to wear any day of the week.
We are blessed, God has justice for all of us.

Moving on....

So much time is spent in thinking about all of the sorrows that come from our past. How do we as humans of any quality of life expect to move forward and improve on our behavior if all we do is complain about what once was? In order for all of us from every walk of life, every corner of the world to rise up and become good humans, shouldn't we look toward the future?
As for me I hope that everyday I spend on this earth I have the pleasure of moving on, going forward into a better day. My past is always going to be filled with my failures, but what is more important to me is how I learn to grow and improve. Moving on is my greatest challenge while doing a better job with what I have.
As a collection of all kinds of different people I hope that we all can move on from the past, look forward to tomorrow and work for a better future. Mankind is at stake. How fast will you move on?

When Justice Prevails

In times of trouble whether it is from personal sorrows or social environmental  oppression the human race will always seek justice in a form that is pleasing to the soul. We struggle with daily angers from all directions, races and countries. Our constant need to replenish our agony from within never ceases. In short we want justice from a source that will equal to the pain, loss and suffering the human race has to come to know all too well. Where then do we attain that justice? For me, my whole life has been about the journey I take daily. It is a road that I travel not alone, but with my Savior and God the Father. In seeking justice for the unkind affliction that I have suffered, I first and foremost must go to God. I know without a doubt the he as my heavenly father will show me the justice that I so richly deserve. However, God in his wisdom may offer us the justice that we seek in away that we as his children had not expected. Many times that which we seek to right again comes through to us by way of giving of ourselves.Reaching down into the deepest depths of our soul and giving of our love and forgiveness to those that have wounded us. We are not made in man's image, but in God's, which also means with God's love. In order to have prefect justice given to us we must   some how learn to set our own wants to the side. The question then becomes how would God want us to see the justice that he has displayed in our lives. For me, justice prevails on a daily bases for all things whether we fully understand the outcome or not. For justice truly is in the hands of God the father and thus sometimes the justice we seek can not be had on this earth. Seeking to have understanding of how God works his justice is never easy. We ask ourselves everyday for some form of justice for hundreds of thousands of misdoings. God in his prefect form will not forget our request or the actions that caused his child harm. In all things is the hand of God, pure and loving and as such his justice will always prevail. It is just a simple case of having enough faith to know that God is with us in all things.
It is written in Psalms 105:7 , "He is the Lord our God. His justice is seen throughout the land."
This is understanding when justice prevails.
